Personal Development

Profound personal development is the aim Ranskill Primary School has for every pupil. 

Our aim is to teach children how to navigate through life safely, happily and healthily. Children are growing up in a world that is constantly changing and it is important that Ranskill pupils are equipped with the essential transferable skills to deal with this. We teach children about the world around them, relationships, emotions, reproduction and health, as well as the transferable life skills needed to be successful. Once pupils have learnt these skills, we have high expectations of their integrity: ensuring that 'Take Care' values are upheld, even when no-one is looking. To compliment these skills, we consistently promote the British values.
