Early Help Offer
What is Early Help?
Early Help Services are available to provide support to children, young people and their families to get the right support at the right time, helping to address their needs before they escalate.
Our Early Help Offer
At Ranskill, we believe children and families should get the right support at the right time, before small worries become bigger ones. Early Help simply means offering support as soon as a concern begins to emerge – whether it’s about learning, behaviour, friendships, attendance, or family wellbeing. Early Help is part of the national approach that helps children thrive and prevents problems from escalating.
We work closely with families and with other services such as health, local Early Help teams and community organisations, because schools play a central role in spotting early signs and coordinating support.
Our Early Help offer includes:
- A welcoming, supportive school team who are here to listen
- Help with attendance, behaviour, friendships and wellbeing
- Pastoral support, mentoring and in‑school interventions
- Support for parents, including signposting to local services
- Working with other agencies when needed to make sure families get the right help
If you ever feel your child or family needs a bit of extra support, please speak to your child’s class teacher or a member of our pastoral/safeguarding team. We’re here to help — and Early Help is about working together to make things better as early as possible.
