Week Three 20.04.20

WELCOME BACK!

Hope you have all had a lovely Easter with lots of chocolate and some fun in the sunshine.  It is sad that we will not see you face to face, but we hope that you will keep in contact via class dojo.  It is lovely to see the photographs of your home learning.

Young children are still exploring the world and their is a huge amount of value in their everyday play, we are aware that everybody is in a different situation at home with many of you juggling working from home and caring for your family.  The most important thing is that you get through this time and at the end have happy and emotionally secure children who are ready to come back to school.  The document below outlines the topic theme that the children were going to explore in school this half term.  There is also the document for this half terms maths.  Don't put yourself or your family under any stress this is not a tick list to complete and it cover the whole of the half term!  The other documents are suggestions of things to do this week.

The first week back is based around one of my favourite book characters Mrs Wishy Washy.  The story  is about her quest to keep her farm animals clean.  Its repetitive, easy to follow text and supportive pictures with a bit of humour, make it a very popular book with most children, plus the added bonus of getting to splash in mud!
